When you use our services, we automatically collect information, including:

  • Location Information: With your consent, we collect precise location information from your device, including GPS coordinates.
  • Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access our services, including hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Usage Information: We collect information about how you use our services, such as the pages or content you view, your search queries, and other actions on our services.
  • Log Information: We collect log information when you use our services, including access times, pages viewed, IP address, and the page you visited before navigating to our services.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • With Drivers: We share your information with the drivers who provide transportation services for your children, including your contact information, your child's name and specific needs, and pickup/drop-off locations.
  • With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who perform services on our behalf.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law, protect our rights, or ensure safety.
  • With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties when you consent to such sharing.
  • Business Transfers: If Kidzo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed to parents and guardians, not to children. We collect limited information about children, as provided by their parents or guardians, solely for the purpose of facilitating transportation services. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 years of age.

Parents have the right to review, delete, and control our use of their children's personal information. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@kidzo.com.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%.

7.2 Location Information

You can choose whether to allow the App to collect and use real-time information about your device's location through your device's settings. If you block the use of location information, some parts of the App may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

7.3 Promotional Communications

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from Kidzo by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.

8. Data Transfers

Kidzo is based in the United States and the information we collect is governed by U.S. law. If you are accessing our services from outside of the U.S., please be aware that information collected through the services may be transferred to, processed, stored, and used in the U.S. and other jurisdictions.
